Time For You To Bring Me Home by PJFriel Time For You To Bring Me Home by PJFriel
Inspiration from the Tool song named "10,000 days."

The final verse of the song is...

Daylight dims leaving cold fluorescents.
Difficult to see you in this light.
Please forgive this bold suggestion, but
Should you see your Maker's face tonight,
Look Him in the eye, look Him in the eye, and tell Him:
"I never lived a lie, never took a life, but surely saved one.
Hallelujah, it's time for you to bring me home."

That last sentence stuck in my brain and all I could see was a woman on her knees, bedraggled, screaming to the heavens to be taken home.

So...welcome to the inside of my head. :D

Wicked good render and fine choice of illumination!

Can forsaken be intense? This feels like humanity, god and hope all took the last ship off planet and left her in a prison (which she has broken out of and finds herself in just another cellblock). I could see this as similar to how people seek to escape one kind of hell only to land in another... but, there is that opening, and the hope that does not forsake; perhaps a way out!

 Thank you, Bob!

That last desperate scream to a deity who has appeared to have lifted its hand from her & her world...that's what I wished to capture with this.

But will the light bring salvation or annihilation...

Very impressive work.

Ever since George Bush was re-elected, I vote for the happy endings. Same with dessert, go for the knox chocolate pie before it's all gone!

Poser isn't hard once you've gotten the hang of it. Here's a link to the company's website... [link]

As for what you can do with Poser...everything in my gallery was created with Poser. So you can create artwork and even do animations with it. :)

hehe...thanks, Jase!

What, you guys think that just because I like Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks that I'm all girly? Pshhh...I grew up on AC/DC, Def Leppard, Dio, Scorpions, Metallica! :headbang:

If you looked at my iTunes library you'd think you were dealing with Sybil. I have everything from Marilyn Manson to Clay Aiken in there. hehe. :D

I guess I would take Brian Johnson, James Hetfield, and Tool's lead singer over Clarkson and Sparks anyday. I have some weird tastes in music too. One's you'd never think I would like.

While there is despair, the light from above lends a sense of hope. Even if the hope is only that the next life will be better than this one.

Thank you for the comment and the fav. :)

There's actually no connection to A Perfect Circle's "Weak & Powerless." That's a good song (although the video is extremely creepy...I had to go check it out after your comment). This was inspired more by Tool as I mentioned. She's blonde just because I pictured her that way, perhaps because I'm blonde...?

The lunar symbolism is merely a link to my own beliefs. I had thought about a different outfit, but I liked this one.
