When the Muse Whispers by *Shylydrya is a beautiful image, stemming from a fantastic concept. As the suggester says: "I feel this image does such a wonderful job to bring that inspiration of our muse to visual life."

You'll have to full view this one in order to see it. It's quite wide!

Special thank you to :iconhermieluver: for suggesting that there might be a 3rd image that went with

You were so right.

Dedicated to (and shown there in the middle) my Muse, that finkle, frustrating, glorious creature who whispers in my ear and sits like a weight between my shoulder blades, poking me with her bony little fingers until I finally achieve that which she has demanded...and I can think of no finer thing than to serve her.

Each piece was rendered separately in Poser 8 and then put together in Photoshop.

Thank you for viewing. I'm so happy to be able to share my work with you. :)

Wow--this is just amazing! I may have given you the idea, but I think you get full credit for taking that idea and turning it into so beautiful and powerful a work of art. The title is beautiful and fitting for the subject of the piece, and the composition is exceptional--I always love odd sizes in art, but in this piece, it feels like one of those Japanese or Chinese picture scrolls that reveal something new as the ends are further unrolled. That is very much a fitting metaphor for the creative muse, that can take one little thing and turn it into something full of meaning and beauty. Each of the three parts of the piece are fully capable of standing alone, but when combined together, they really take on new meaning. I also love how the Muse is surrounded by bubbles of light that help transition from the dark teal on the left to the lighter aquamarine on the right. The dreamy expression and pose of the Muse are also an excellent choice--they lend a powerful quality to the already strong poses of the women on either side, making it seem like the sheer will of her dreaming has brought them to life.

This is an amazing work of art, and if I have repeated myself one time too many, it is only because words cannot describe the beauty and elegance in every aspect of this piece--expression, lighting, composition, pose, and most importantly, artistic vision.
